She took it upon herself to tell him a little about me and tell me a little about him. The evening of 20 June 2004, we happened to all be at the same chat room site and Lori decided it was about time we met, so she told Sir Lawrence that I was at the site and he should say hello. </div> <bR> <div>      He sent me a PM (Private Message) and we chatted for quite some time - covering all the surface stuff that newly acquainted people do. I think we both walked away from that meeting thinking "Nice person, I'd like to learn more." <smiling> The "learning more" started the very next day and we have been inseparable since then!</div> <bR> <div>      We branched out to voice chat, emails, and finally into telephone conversations. Since he lived in Arizona and The Realm is in North Carolina, all of us at The Realm began sliding into the night shift - many sunrises were seen - at least for this Realm Mistress! *grin*</div> <bR> <div>      It's really amazing the way this worked out... he was already in the process of selling his home in Arizona and had plans to move back east - he wasn't sure of just where back east, but he'd had about all of the desert life he could take. As our relationship grew, the decision was made that North Carolina was where he would settle.</div> <bR> <div>      He arrived at Thisildo Realm 16 August 2004 and has fit into Realm Life like he was born to it and we have fit together purrfectly. There was been *perhaps* an entire six minute "adjustment" period before we were behaving as though we'd been together forever.</div> </tD> </tR> </TABLE></div> <div> <TABLE BORDER="0" CELLPADDING="2" CELLSPACING="2" WIDTH="654" BORDERCOLORLIGHT="#C0C0C0" BORDERCOLORDARK="#808080" FRAME="BOX" RULES="ALL" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" > <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 1844 WIDTH="646"><div>      All the Realm Critters are warming nicely to Larry... of course there's always one hold-out and Misty is the Realm hold-out! ;o) The one critter we were both concerned about is Billie - her walkabout completely changed her personality. She's still a bit leery of strangers (for which I am really grateful!), but Larry's patience and perseverance has brought Billie very close to the pupper she was before her Walkabout.</div> <bR> <div> In spite of their initial encounter where Corky actually BIT Larry, Corky has been easing her way into his heart on a regular basis. In spite of all my "suggestions" that he retire, Larry decided he'd had enough of this "vacation" stuff and needed to get back to work :( </div> <bR> <bR> <div>      He got spiffed up and headed out for his first interview Wednesday, 25 August and wouldn't you know it? He got the job! I know, I know! It's one of those mixed emotion thingers - I'm thrilled he got a job so quickly, but dang! I was sooooo enjoying having him "under foot"! *wink*</div> <bR> <bR> <div>      Training starts Monday... :::sigh:::  ... The plans are now in the works for a massive Spring 2006 planting of tomatoes and other veggies! :D</div> <bR> <div>      He's also discovered the world of Slot Car Racing and has his "Friday Night with the guys" going on. ;o)  It was really funny when he first started! The folks down there wouldn't let him race with the big guys - he had to race with the young boys until he got some experience under his belt! <giggle> Now he's gotten his speed and handling up so he can play with the big boys!
