It was absolutely horrible in 2003, with power lost to millions for weeks! Fortunately, the power company decided after that monster storm that they needed to do "something". They weren't willing to spend the money to put all the power lines underground, so they instead hired crews to cut all the trees back from the power lines at least 15 feet. It took them the better part of a year to get the job done, but it appears to have paid off. The temperature got up to 34 degrees F which helped to keep the layer of ice to a minimum. Of course, the fur kids were not the least bit happy about having to spend the day in the house! The temperature is supposed to hit the low 40's tomorrow and they'll be able to play in the mud! </div> </tD> </tR> </TABLE></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
