We finally made it to the vet's office for Misty to have her first visit, get shots and schedule her spay surgery. That's when the plan hit a wee snag. A woman came into the office with an armload of kittens that she "found on the side of the road" <snicker> One of them just stole my heart and I couldn't help myself! As the woman was leaving the office with her armload of kittens, I snatched Gizmo out of her arms and told the lady behind the desk that we needed another file!
What originally was planned as someone for Amber to play with turned out to be a double blessing! Not only did Amber have two new playmates -which pleased Corky no end, Misty had someone her own size to play with, too! ;o)
It was just about this time when my camera broke and took for-ev-er to get fixed -had to wait on a part for the decade old camera and I missed capturing Misty and Gizmo's "growing up" time. bummer. bummer. bummer.
Misty is a very loving purrbie. She's the only one who'll roll over so you can rub her belly and loves nothing more than to curl up in your lap, knead your belly, and drift off to sleep.
